Sponsorship Program
Founded in 1996, YES Scholarship empowers orphaned and vulnerable children in the Kabarole District of Western Uganda by providing a comprehensive education. Our program covers school fees, boarding, uniforms, lunch, scholastic materials, and health care, aiming to build future community leaders. Since its inception, we’ve helped over 2,000 students graduate successfully, equipping them to lead fulfilling lives.
Through our one-to-one child sponsorship program, we connect compassionate sponsors with children in need. We collaborate with local administrations, health centers, schools, and community representatives to identify the most vulnerable children, particularly those in extreme poverty. Once accepted, we monitor each child’s academic progress and personal development to provide tailored support.
As a sponsor, you’ll receive a personal letter from the child you sponsor after each school term, along with their report card, and an annual photo update. Your support directly impacts the child’s education.
In addition to education, we ensure healthcare and provide solar lights to families without electricity, allowing children to study in the evening. We also offer support to students pursuing university education or vocational training, helping them achieve their dreams. Join us in transforming lives. Your sponsorship creates lasting change and brighter futures.
Manna Rescue Home
Since 2008, Manna Rescue Home has been providing essential care for HIV-positive children in Fort Portal, Western Uganda. With space for 30 children, we create a safe, stable, and loving
environment where children can thrive.
Our comprehensive care includes education, healthcare with 24/7 nursing, nutritious meals, clothing, counseling, and practical skills like gardening, music, and painting. Sports and recreational activities help develop physical strength and emotional resilience. Unlike an orphanage, Manna Rescue Home is a rescue home, meaning children can visit their families during school holidays to maintain important family bonds.
Our dedicated staff foster a nurturing atmosphere, empowering children to overcomethe stigma of HIV and build their self-esteem.
With your support, we help them break free from the cycle of poverty and disease, growing into confident, compassionate individuals.
At Manna Rescue Home, we believe every child deserves a chance to flourish. Join us in giving these children a brighter future.
